Julio, 15 de 2010. 130 modelos de siete agencias y algunos independientes aceptaron la invitación de la Feria para este casting.
Desde muy temprano llegaron al auditorio de la Cámara de Comercio de Ibagué los jóvenes interesados en participar en el primer casting selectivo para la elección de modelos que estarán en las diferentes pasarelas de la Feria Ibagué Maquila y Moda 2010.
Agencias como: Casa de Modelos Ángela Polanco, Style Models, Life Models, Colombian Models, Fitness Model, Models Colombia, Collage Models y algunos participantes independientes se hicieron presentes. Del total de ellos fueron preseleccionados 70 modelos que estarán en la gran selección la primera semana de agosto con la presencia de Tony Márquez quien hará la escogencia.
En esta oportunidad John Granali, experto en modelaje y Anne Veneth diseñadora de modas tuvieron en cuenta algunos parámetros para la selección, entre ellos una estatura para hombres de 1.80 y mujeres 1.70, buena pasarela y excelente registro fotográfico.
Los jóvenes preseleccionados realizarán varios ensayos de pasarela antes de la selección final, donde saldrán escogidos los modelos tolimenses que estarán en los más de 16 desfiles, compartiendo pasarela con modelos de talla nacional como: Adriana Arboleda, Lina Polanía, La Toya Montoya entre otros, además de diseñadores locales y nacionales que participarán de la segunda versión de la Feria Ibagué…Maquila y Moda 2010 que se realizará del 1 al 3 de septiembre.
